THE FIFTH EDITION OF THE LAGOS KNOCKOUT CRICKET TOURNEY
Lagos Island, Lagos – May 8, 2006

Express Discount Limited sponsored for the fifth year running the Lagos Knockout Cricket Tournament which commenced Saturday, April 8, 2006 and ended Sunday, May 7 2006.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, Express Discount Limited, five years ago, agreed to partner with the Lagos State Cricket Association in establishing a knock-out tournament that will complement the league organized by the Club Cricket Committee.

The choice of cricket sponsorship is predicated upon the alignment of our core values of integrity, team spirit and responsible citizenship with the true spirit of cricket.

Courtesy of Express Discount Limited, the 5th Edition of the Tournament was an opportunity for cricketers in Lagos and environs to “express” themselves on the field of play. Merit awards were also given to men who had distinguished themselves in the noble game of cricket.
