He had earlier scored 113 runs not out in the quarter final match played against FGC Warri Old Boys CC. KCOB got to the semi-final by defeating Cosmopolitan CC by 5 wickets. Cosmo's unimpressive 103 runs was not a problem for the young enterprising KCOB team.

FCC amassed 219 runs for 9 wickets in 40 overs while Lagos Indians struggled to put up 107 runs all out in 31.4 overs. The final comes up on Sunday, April 25 at the Tafawa Balewa Cricket Oval. According to Mr. George Wiltshire, Chairman of the Lagos State Cricket Association (LSCA), the final is going to be an interesting one as FCC will seek to take its pound of flesh back from Pioneers who defeated them last season to clinch the CCC League title. He added that the
diplomatic community and cricket enthusiasts will be coming to watch the final match which promises to be a memorable one.

The Lagos Knock Out, which started in 2002, is an annual tourney initiated by the Lagos State Cricket Association with the aim of broadening the scope of matches.
