CBN approves mr. justus uranta to the board of edl
Lagos Island, Lagos – June 13, 2006

Central Banks of Nigeria (CBN) has approved the appointment of Mr. Justus Uranta, MD Niger Insurance Plc to the Board of EDL to complete the full board complement.

The CBN had earlier given the approval of the other board members after the banking consolidation. With this approval the full board structure of EDL is as follows

1. Mr. Francis Atuche - MD, Bank PHB Plc (Ag Chairman)
2. Mr. Akinsola akinfemiwa - MD, Skye Bank Plc
3. Mr. Mike Chukwu - MD, Spring Bank Plc
4. Mr. Emeka Onwuka - MD, Diamond Bank Plc
5. Mr. Okey Nwosu - MD, First Inland Bank Plc
6. Mr. Justus Uranta - MD, Niger Insurance Plc
7. Mr. Kwesi Sagoe - MD/CEO Express Discount Limited
8. Mr. Muhammad Baba - ED Express Discount Limited
